JMSSS is an NGO registered on 19.01.2005 with Registered Office in Vaddahalli Village in Mulabagilu Tq. of Kolar Dist.under the trust act and Head Office in Kolar. Mr. Madhusudan is the President of the trust and Mr. K Nataraja is the Secretary and CEO of the trust. The trust has a total of 7 trustees including a women trustee –Mrs Parvathamma.
Since inception, we are working for the economic up-liftment of rural poor,women, weaker sections of the society and works for the development of agriculture and rural industries throughout the Karnataka State. Since last few years, as part of economic development program.We are also promoting SHGs and have formed more than 2400 SHG groups with financial assistance of about RS 20 Crores through linkage with ICICI Bank ,Kolar.
As Part of our continued effort towards rural economic development , we intend to form Joint Liab. Groups among Agriculturists particularly Tenant Cultivators who find it difficult to get loans for crop production due to want of appropriate land documents other difficulties. we propose to take up JLG activity in 6 Districts viz.,Bangaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Ramanagar ,Tumkur, Kolar and Chikkaballapur for about 2400 JLG groups covering about 12000 farmers/ tenant cultivators with an estimated annual loan out lay of RS 60 Crores.
Entire loan management system will work on CBS platform. We will arrange through a service provider necessary interface between our server and the bank’s server at any agreed level with necessary built in data security /firewall as may be stipulated by the bank. Bank will be requested to appoint nodal IT officer to work on the necessary arrangement. We will take care of all ground level work including assisting the bank in loan documentation. A single nodal branch per district or at least at taluk level will help all in better co ordination ,focus on the loan port folio, quicker decision making ,sanction and disbursement etc which will enable the bank to help more no. of needy farmers and also higher business growth under Priority Sector to the bank. Hence, the same is proposed Over the years we have built up quite experienced and capable team of field, supervisory and administrative manpower and have committed and loyal customer base.
We have robust organizational structure, knowledgeable internal expertise in areas like credit, risk management, internal control and recovery management etc. In view of these factors, we are confident of achieving business, asset quality maintenance and recovery targets as detailed in the enclosed project report. Thus, JMSSS is approaching the Bank with a request to provide a KCC – JLG credit limit of RS 60 Crores .
